Growing up, I was involved in a variety of different sports including Athletics, Tennis, Swimming, Diving & a few others, but the main sport I took to was Football (soccer). I played football for 6 years before starting to get into weight training & Boxing. I was a small skinny 60kg kid, until I decided to do something about it! I signed up to my first ever gym membership 3 months before my 18th birthday. I walked into the gym not having a clue with where to start while feeling intimidated by everyone around me. So not knowing where to start, I started researching whenever I could and picking the brains of anyone I could; to start understanding how the body works, how I should be training and what I should be eating. After about 18 months of hardwork, research and trial and error, I managed to pack on about 8kg's. Then all of a sudden, I wasn't that same skinny kid anymore. During this time, I was bartending in a small pub not far from my house. But once I had realised how much progress I had made, I started looking into becoming a Personal Trainer. I got this buzz that I could help so many other people achieve the progress I had, only in a fraction of the time! So, I quit my bartending job and started studying Personal Training. After I qualified, I got my first job in a gym as a self employed PT. I started picking up my first ever clients and in no time, we started getting some life changing results. It's the most rewarding job I've ever done! I continued to take so many clients on these amazing journeys as well as continuing to improve myself and keep learning. I started my first ever "bulk" or weight gain. After hitting fitness in a different way, I massively increased my calories. After 8 months of hard work; I hit my goal weight of 80kg at 21 years old. I went from 62kg to 80kg which was a massive accomplishment for me. I then followed that through with a cut, cutting down to 75kg at 9% body fat. I'm not a massive fan of "bulking" to be honest. I much prefer a slow weight gain while staying lean, but it was a great experience which taught me a Lot! Since then, I've learnt a lot more and continue to everyday. I've now helped hundreds of people achieve the results they've always dreamed of, which you can see on my "Transformations page".
